This recipe takes time but totally worth it. The lentils are the primary protein source. I tried using more lentils than pasta.
We probably bought the “wrong” tomato puree – it had no seasonings. Which is why I added (finished our stock of) basil tomato puree. .
Basil leaves would have been a great garnish but I didn’t have any so..
