Sunday baking project!!

Three-ingredient Beer bread!! Baking my beer bread for the upcoming week! 🍞⁠

I love beer, and I love bread, so when I discover you can easily bake beer bread at home! IT BECAME A THING! It brings me so much joy to make this bread, the quickness, the simplicity, the beer flavor it has it all!⁠
This time I added some pumpkin seed to add some variety to it.⁠

Recipe⁠
In a bowl, add 3 cups of self-rising flour, 3 tsp sugar, one bottle of beer (330ml) at room temperature, preferably a beer with a light flavor, and that you like the test. I used Früh Kölsch! ⁠

Combine all the ingredients, transfer to a loaf pan, and bake in a preheated at 180°C oven for 50-55 min.⁠

My notes on the recipe: if you’re not in a hurry, cover and let sit 1-2 hours or overnight. The texture will be more smooth, and you will see some gluten activation there. It is magic!!⁠

I use a variation of this same recipe for my pizza crust and it is delicious! ⁠
