Spaghetti con Tonno e Pomodoro.
Also known as spaghetti with tuna and tomato sauce, garnished with olives, parsley and kefalotyri hard cheese.
🍝 pasta of choice
🍝 320g tuna in olive oil
🍝 400g canned peeled tomatoes
🍝 cheese of choice, grated
🍝 olive oil
🍝 1 large garlic, halved
🍝 basil leaves
🍝 cook pasta as instructed in a pot of boiling water + olive oil. Drain and dazzle with olive oil. Return to pan so it stays warm.
🍝 in a pan pour in olive oil and add the garlic. Remove garlic when fragrant. Add the tuna and tomato paste, bring to a simmer. After a couple of minutes, add parsley, 3/4 tsp basil leaves, 3/4 tsp oregano, and salt to taste. Stir and let simmer for a couple of minutes, set aside.
🍝 serve and garnish with parsley, olives, and grated cheese
