For some reason, I suck at cooking with sachet sauces. Anyway, here’s how she did it:
1. Stirfry 1 diced onion with olive oil until fragrant. Add 500 gr diced beef and stirfry longer until fragrant.
2. Add the Rawon seasoning, 1 lemongrass (sliced and beaten/digeprek) and stirfry for a bit before adding 3.5 cups (750 ml) water.
3. Boil until the meat is soft.
4. Adjust flavor: always add some salt and sugar (protip)
5. Serve with baby mungbean sprouts, warm rice, sambal and tempeh.

For best result, tempeh should be marinated in: water + minced garlic + salt + ketumbar powder before fried in oil.
