One of my favorite Indonesian traditional snacks. This one is not made by me, but by my aunty. Hers looks so much fluffier than mine!

Ingredients:
🍵 4 egg yolks
🍵 100 he sugar (1/2 cup)
🍵 60 ml vegetable oil (1/4 cup)
🍵 100 ml coconut milk (1/2 cup)
🍵 120 gr flour (1 cup), sieved
🍵 1 tsp baking powder
🍵 1/2 tsp baking soda
🍵 1.5 tsp pandan paste
🍵 4 egg-whites
🍵 1 tsp cream of tartar
🍵 50 gr sugar (1/4 cup)

1. Pre-heat oven to 180C.
2. Prepare a chiffon baking tray (or any tray of choice) (diameter 22cm) and cover with baking paper. Wet it with some water and set aside.
3. Mix the egg yolk, sugar, vegetable oil, coconut milk, flour, baking powder, and baking soda. When thick, add the pandan paste and mix well.
4. Beat/mix egg-whites with cream of tartar. Add the rest of the sugar little by little. Mix until the egg-white is stiff (picture).
5. Mix the egg-white into the batter carefully.
6. Pour the mixture in the baking tray and bake for 35-45 minutes.
