Home Made Gulaž with Polenta and Salad
Unfortunately I didn’t make the Gulaž myself, but I was there when it was made. All I know was: you need as much onion as meat to make the dish – and this meal is slow cooked, which means I had to endure the delicious aroma for hours before I could devour it. It was made by my friend’s father in law, and they were kind enough to let me bring some home!
Salad: corn salad + rukola salad + homegrown red radicchio + raw garlic, minced + olive oil + salt.
Polenta: mix Polenta as written on the package. Mine was made by mixing polenta with water (1:3 ratio) for 2 minutes on a medium fire. Then I placed the porridge-like mixture in a tray. It will harden as it cools down.
